Rules

The rules are designed primarily to promote safety, sportsmanship, self reliance and equality. Riders of the BoB Race must abide by the ten simple rules at all times whilst racing and any rule infringements will be taken seriously by the organisers.

1) Ride from start to finish via the control(s) - Velodrome, Cambridge Central Mosque, Velodrome. 

2) No third party support or resupply - No 3rd party support, private lodgings (Hotels are okay) or resupply.  All food, drink and equipment must be carried or acquired at commercially available services.

3) No drafting, including if a group passes you by riding at a similar pace. If riding with another participent, you are free to ride side to side.

4) All forward travel must be self powered

5) Travel by ferries only on approved routes

6) All riders must maintain evidence of their ride (Strava or similar)

7) Inactive for 6 hours and you're disqualified (just update the chat saying where you are/selfie/etc)

8) No helmet = disqualified

9) Riders must know and obey local traffic laws

10) Ride in the spirit of self reliance & equal opportunity 

 *This race will take you within the confines of a mosque, please be respectful in & around there. And of course on the rest of your journey also.

A location pin must be sent at Start, Control & end. Race timings will be confirmed via Strava.

For this race, the route is up to the individual.
